Welcome to Vision7nine
If you are looking to ignite your passion for missions, you've come to the right place. This site houses a growing collection of mission-related resources we offer as well a some created by our strategic partners. As a division of The BodyBuilders, we thought you might want to get to know the bigger picture of who we are.
A Division of The BodyBuilders
The BodyBuilders is a non-profit, non-denominational, para church organization that seeks to mobilize and build up the Body of Christ. We provide training for many different ministries, churches, and denominations in the U.S. and overseas. Our objective is to provide each group and individual vision and equipping to help them be more effective in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Jesus said the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. The BodyBuilders was created not out of a desire to start another organization, but out of our desire to see more workers sent to the harvest. Our seminars, publications, and consulting were created out of necessity to fill a gap in the Body of Christ. We are not in the business of doing seminars or writing books. Our business is to do the most with the ideas and strengths the Lord has given us and to share them with others.
The BodyBuilders is all about assisting other ministries and Christians, building them up in particular areas so that they will be able to serve God more fully. In the end, it all comes back to our ultimate desire to see every tribe, tongue, and nation hear the Gospel and come to know Christ and glorify Him. We do that in our ministry, not by going out into the tribes, but by equipping and enabling others to do what they do better, so that they might play their role in the Great Commission.
Our mission is to provide vision and equipping to build up and mobilize the body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission.
A key verse that defines our mission is Ephesians 4:12: "And He gave some…for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ."
History
The BodyBuilders began in 2001, after Steve turned the reins of Student Mobilization over to the next generation of leadership to allow him to get back to grass roots campus ministry, along with serving the Body of Christ as a minister at large. Steve is on staff with the United States Center for World Mission and serves as president of The BodyBuilders, providing seminars, consulting, and tools to Christians around the world.

Our Beliefs and Values
The Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and that the Old and New Testaments are supernaturally inspired, inerrant in the original writing, infallible, and the final authority for all Christian faith, life, and conduct for every age.
The Godhead
We believe in one God, the creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons -Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Person and Work of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, without any change in His eternal Deity, became man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. We believe that Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a perfect and complete sacrifice, and that our justification is made sure by His shed blood and His literal physical resurrection from the dead. We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where as our High Priest and Head of the Church, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person whose ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. We believe that He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration at conversion, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them until the Day of Redemption. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Divine Teacher, who guides believers in all truth, and that He fills and empowers the believer for Godly living and service.
The Condition of Man
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin, the entire race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. We believe that man is totally depraved, lost, and of himself completely unable to remedy his lost condition.
Salvation
We believe that salvation, with its' forgiveness of sins, its' importation of a new nature, and its' hope of eternal life, is entirely apart from good works, baptism, or man's effort. We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to men by grace and is received by a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose atoning death and resurrection provide the ONLY ground of justification and salvation. We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept in God's power and thus secure in Christ forever. We also believe that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation as stated in God's Word, but to realize that sin may interrupt the joy of the believer's fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of their Heavenly Father.
The Second Advent of Christ
We believe in the "Blessed Hope", the personal, imminent and premillenial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones, and in His subsequent return to earth, with His Saints, to establish His Millennial Kingdom.
The Church
We believe that the Church, which is the body and espoused Bride of Christ, is composed of all persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures.
Satan
We believe that Satan is a fallen angel, the author of sin, and cause of the fall. That he is the open and declared enemy of God and man, and that he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire.
The Eternal State
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to eternal judgment and everlasting punishment. We believe that the souls of the redeemed are at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord, where in conscious bliss they await their resurrection, when spirit, soul, and body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord in the new heavens and the new earth. We believe that the souls of unbelievers remain after death, in conscious misery until their resurrection, when with soul and body reunited they shall appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, and shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be annihilated, but to suffer everlasting conscious punishment.
Missions
We believe that it is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling Spirit. Therefore we believe that it is the obligation of the saved to witness by life and word, to the truths of the Scriptures, to seek to proclaim the gospel, and in turn make disciples, of all "nations".
